Dancing gracefully is said to be an art, but for Jason & Sylvia
it is also a passion. For the past six years the two have danced
at numerous events and shows around the country. The duo are well
versed in many popular western dance forms and have enthralled their
audience with their fluid, rythmic movement and graceful steps.
They have also imparted their skills to many who are interested
in being more proficient in dancing for their personal satisfaction
or to be a better performer.
Jason & Sylvia are Goans and therefore it is not very suprising,
are regular performers at various events, shows and workshops in
their own state. With this hectic schedule they still manage to
find time to teach individual couples to dance for a personal or
social ocassion. In fact many past students have said that they
also develop their confidence to perform in social gatherings with
graceful movements. Together they have founded the Jason & Sylvia
Dance Academy, which imparts training to children between 6 and
12 years with an aim to encourage dancing and to keep alive the
grace and attractive concepts of dance.
Jason & Sylvia are the only couple from India who have represented India at the recently held International
Dancesport Asian Championships. In Hong Kong where they have reached upto the semifinals and have secured the 18th place in Asia.
They are the only wild card entrants for this year's world latin cup to be held in Singapore.
